New vacuum equipment at BM-5

Staff of BM-5 and other staff of the mill saw a new building constructed next to the main building. Project manager on rebuild of BM-5 Aldokimov Sergei Maximovich told about new building and equipment, installation of it is in the process now.
- during the estimation of the third step of rebuild the management of the mill decided about changing of vacuum unit of BM-5. It was chosen vacuum water ring pumps.

It was concluded the contract with the company “BKT-Service” for designing of the unit and delivery of the whole equipment set. Pandemic of CoVid-19 corrected and this project: it was delay of accessories delivery including pumps. At this moment all equipment is on the territory, the installation of it is doing. Installation work is done by the company “APK-Stroy”. The pumps have already been installed, the piping of the pumps is being done, pipe installation, manufacture of vacuum manifolds, additional equipment is installing now. This week the construction of the building must be finished: assembly of frame is finished, installation   of wall sandwich panels is almost finished. Everything must be installed and checked to main shutdown planned in May. During the shutdown cutting of new vacuum pumps to manifolds will be done and start-up pf MB will be with new vacuum unit.
